Recipe for Overnight Oats

Overnight oats have become one of my breakfast favorites.  I can throw it together the night before and its ready to eat in the morning.  I especially enjoy it in the summer when I can add deliciously sweet fresh fruit.  My garden strawberries are so tasty in it!

Mix all ingredients together and let it refrigerate overnight.  I add some vanilla protein powder to mine in the morning, but that is entirely up to you.  ½ C of plain Greek yogurt will give you about 10g of protein.  I try to get about 20g of protein per meal so I just add about a half a scoop of protein powder right before eating.  Enjoy!



-1/2 C Quaker Old Fashioned Oats

-1/2 C almond milk

-1/2 plain Greek non-fat yogurt

-1 Tbs. honey

-1/3 C fruit

-sprinkle with ground cinnamon and cardamom
